Join Trista as we rest in the darkness and prepare to welcome in the upcoming winter energies. This one day women's retreat has been created to help you feel supported by a sacred group of soulful women and to offer a safe space to explore your connection to your mind, body, and spirit. 

We turn to the North, the direction of the sun at its coldest (and darkest), sage knowing of the elders, winter time, and the element of Air. We thank you Sacred Mystery for how you are revealed through air, breath, and wind—that you blow wisdom through the winter-time air like a generational seed, that will become planted in the coming months of spring. We bow to the North in gratitude and honor for the cover and quiet of night, for the inspiration of dreams, and for the much-needed sacred rhythm of dormancy and dark.

9:30-10:00 Arrive, grab a snack and a hot beverage as you settle in for the day

 

10:00-10:30 Welcome Circle and Opening Blessing

10:30-12:00 Discuss and journal about what we can learn from the Winter season and cyclical living

12:00-1:00 Share a meal catered by Trista (all plant based)

1:00-2:00 Create a seasonal Blessing Jar to help you remember your light in times of darkness

2:15-4:00 Restorative yoga, guided meditation and reiki with Katie Arnold from Rise and Peace Healing

​                 no experience necessary. all poses will be on the floor with ample props to support your comfort.

Enjoy 90 minutes of Restorative Yoga taught by Katie Arnold, of Rise & Peace Healing. Katie takes great pride & joy in creating a loving & supportive atmosphere for an easy, healing & grounding Restorative Yoga practice. She enjoys holding space for you to enjoy this restful side of Yoga. This grounding, supportive & healing practice will invite & encourage you to release the mind & nervous system more fully. The poses, or movements, made in a Restorative Yoga practice, are achieved by moving slowly, bringing your attention to your body and breath, and are all done on the ground with the body fully supported by comfortable Yoga props and assistance from Katie.  

The music played during the practice is currated to offer you a sound healing that will encourage peace, tranquility & grounding. We will also use eye masks & essential oils to support this practice. Katie and Trista will both be offer healing Reiki hands to you at various times throughout the practice. You are invited to find joy in stillness & feel fully supported as you allow yourself this much needed release & ease. Namaste.

Bring your journal, a cozy blanket, something from nature to add to our winter alter (ie: rock, feather, leaf...)

When you register add a note of any dietary needs you may have such as allergies, dislikes...ect.

All foods will be vegan/plant based.

Refund Policy 

*Refunds will be offered up to November 23rd. After the 11/23, no refunds will be given but your registration can be transferred to someone else that wishes to attend. Please contact us in advance if you are planning on transferring your spot. Thank you!​

 

Who's Invited?

Anyone who identifies as a woman is welcome. When we gather together, women of all ages (18 and up for this retreat), to share our stories and wisdom we can be enlightened and empowered by each other. This circle offers a supportive, kind and compassionate environment. Come as you are and feel welcomed and celebrated.

 

Are We Affiliated With Any Religion?

*There is no religion associated with this retreat. We welcome all levels of spirituality. This will be a day of connecting deeply to your heart, body and spirit.  We are coming together to not only to be supported by a sacred circle of women but to also go on an inward journey to deepen our connection to Self and to all of life around us. This offering is heavily focused on nature based practices. ​

 

What's Included In My Registration?

*The full day's retreat at Sacred Space. *All food will be provided and will be plant based/vegan. Water and Hot Tea will also be available.

**Please let me know of any allergies or preferences when you register so that I can offer plenty of yummy food options for our day.  If there is a food that you just don't like...let me know! I want to make sure everyone feels nourished...we will be using a lot of energy together!

Where is Sacred Space?

*Sacred Space is a private studio located on Trista's property in the southern part of Bloomington, Indiana.  We are just a couple miles south of the Starlite Drive In.  An exact address will be given in your confirmation email after registration is complete.​

 

How many will be at the retreat?

 

*This group will be no larger than 8 women plus Trista and Katie.​

 

Do I need to have any experience with breathwork, yoga, meditation or any other practices?

*No experience is neccessary for anything of the activities planned for these retreats.

What if Sacred Space cancels the event?

*In the very rare occurrence that Trista needs to cancel the retreat due to inclement weather, sickness or emergency, you will have receive a refund.
